An experienced trail guide picks out just the right horse for you and saddles
you up. He leads you up a winding path between the trees and tells you some of the history of
the land you are seeing … the people that have come before you. You climb a little more and up
ahead there’s a clearing in the trees. You look out …and you see sprawling in front of you the
majestic Blue Ridge Mountains and lush valleys of Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee…and everyone on the
trail ride gets a little quiet…and for just a moment, time stands still. Then slowly you lead
the horses away…maybe you trot, maybe you just walk some more…maybe, just maybe around the
corner is another clearing.
